I heard about you,
from one of my friends.
And at that moment,
i knew i loved you.
We didn't meet for awhile,
when we did it wasn't long before love kindled.
when your lips touched mine,
for the first time,
i knew i loved you.
staying just friends,
all my feelings trapped inside.
then you were no more,
but even still i loved you.
you were there in memory whilst i was in anothers arms,
you were there in memory as i held that knife,
you were gone but i still loved you.
as my dreams of us were slowly dying,
i was still trying to be with you.
finally you came back,
seeing that i still loved you.
you said it wouldn't work,
i should have listened.
i was trapped inside a wonderful dream,
slowly creeping into a nightmare.
all the while i still loved you.
if i could go back, i would.
i wouldn't have dialed that number.
that number that made me cry.
you broke my heart,
through the pain i still loved you.
i die inside when i see your face.
i die inside when i hear your voice.
i die inside knowing that we will never be.
all the while i still love you.

I've been there before, kind of.... I've never actually been in a really serious relationship, but I sure know the feeling of unrequited love.... Again, very lovely, lostsoul1989.
